What’s My Philosophy?
When I drafted my business plan, I realized there were core beliefs that just had to be in there. Most of them were sayings I often found myself saying over and over again.
Thus, my philosophy was born - a living document dedicated to helping me remember the idealism I had as a new business owner.
I pledge to continue working with these ideas in my brain and heart no matter how big my company grows, how many clients I serve, or how much money I earn. (OK, I’m stepping down from my soapbox now….)
- Create first - Edit later
- Have FUN!!!
- When brainstorming - there are no bad ideas
- Our success can only be defined by our clients’ success
- Act with integrity - always do the right thing
- There are no hidden agendas
- It’s better to do it right than to do it over
- Work hard, be honest, and be flexible (thanks for sharing your mantra, Dad!)
- Live your life with a true spirit, and nothing will be beyond your reach (my high-school yearbook quote)
- Perception = Reality
- Listen to your gut instincts - they’re usually right
- Collaboration, not control creates a better product
- He who asks is a fool for five minutes - he who never asks is a fool forever - Chinese Proverb
- Share your success
- We are lucky - adopt an attitude of gratitude
- We are what we produce
- “Good Enough” is never good enough
- Under-promise & over-deliver
